Apply

Nervous? Totally normal. This isn’t a job interview. It’s a hello. They already know you’re a student with no experience. That’s who they asked for.
What happens next: this note travels with your Stride card: first name, year level, suburb, what you’re into. That IS the application; there’s nothing to attach. You’ll see when they’ve read it, and they can only reply through Stride.

Post a placement

A clear, specific description attracts suitable applicants.

Our rules for the first meeting: at your verified workplace, during business hours, with the named supervisor present. Students are told to expect this. Video call first is encouraged.

Boost

Small, optional, seven days, and one per placement, ever, so pick the week that matters. Students always see the “Boosted” label; we don’t hide it.

A single one-off charge. No subscription and nothing recurring.

How’s Stride going?

You’ve been using it for a bit, so your take is worth having. One number and, if you like, a sentence. It goes straight to the team.

RoughGreat

“OK to show” lets your words (first name only, never your email) appear on the admin dashboard and in Stride materials. Plain Submit stays private to the team.

Something feels wrong?

Trust that feeling. You don’t need a reason to stop a conversation. Here’s what you can do right now:

Email safety@stride.auStraight to our trust & safety team.
If you feel unsafe right now, call 000. Kids Helpline (1800 55 1800) is there any hour if you want to talk to someone.

Report

Tell us what’s wrong. A real person reads every one of these.
